Kemex began as a part-time engineering and drafting venture in early 2000. During that time, we provided drafting and design services to mechanical contractors to assist with industrial plant shutdowns and rebuilds. The types of projects Kemex has been involved with include the rebuilding and replacement of conveyor lines, crane rail structures, work platforms, and industrial ductwork lines. In 2004, Kemex transitioned to a full-time business providing a wide range of plant and design engineering services. The following year, mechanical contracting and welding fabrication services were added to augment the engineering projects that were underway, which enabled us to provide a more complete service to our customers. Kemex has continued to grow in its design and fabrication experience and has expanded into a variety of industrial markets. Engineering, equipment, fabrication, controls, and shop testing services are now part of the package offered to give customers a one-stop shop.
